About

Before starting her own company, Marea Santos built a successful career running corporate information technology (IT) departments and managing complex, technical and mission critical systems for businesses. Today, she offers this expertise and unique project management techniques to her clients as principal of Santos Organizational Strategies.

Marea’s ability to assess a project, understand her client’s needs, habits, and goals, and then break the project into doable pieces, sets her apart as a business consultant for individuals and small businesses. Her extensive experience in staff management has helped Marea understand how to relate to people successfully in order to achieve the desired results.

She puts her analytical skills and keen attention to detail to work when collaborating with clients to understand their work habits and, most importantly, their goals. She is then able to customize a financial system based on her client’s unique needs and objectives. Marea’s enthusiasm and can-do attitude inspires her clients, who refer her to friends and associates without hesitation. Many find her honesty and commitment to their success to be refreshing in today’s fast paced, multi-tasking world.

Marea earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Regis College with an emphasis in Math and Computers. Previous professional positions include: IT Manager for an engineering company in Boston; a Financial Systems manager for a healthcare system in Cambridge; and an Applications Consultant for a software company in the medical industry. Through these positions, Marea has worked on over 30 major projects involving managing and implementing new hardware, software and systems infrastructure. Marea prides herself on not only finishing these projects in a timely manner, without issue, but also on documenting all new processes and saving her employers money through her efforts.
